Hi guys,

I need to paint the cover on my tank but am concerned about toxic nasties leaching into my system.

Does anyone know of a reasonably priced food/fish safe paint for a galvanised steel mesh tank cover ?

Thanks
Paul.

Unless the galv is submersed (which wouldnt be wise anyway) you should be ok.

But for piece of mind I would go for a fish safe epoxy paint, go on a google adventure and Im sure you will find something. Ryan used some to coat the inside of his DWC beds.

I've used this product for building aquariums with wood. It should work on metal as well.
