Tesla is the father of the poly phase induction motor and the one responsible for the Power Plant at Niagara Falls. His real goal was to power the world via a wireless grid.

In order to understand how, one needs to understand the difference between transverse and longitudinal electric waves.

John Bedini's SG Motor/Generator takes advantage of longitudinal electric waves as well.

Here are demonstration videos that explain it in detail...

sure you could power a city with wireless power... however due to the extraordinary amout of energy going from the transmitter to every house, everyone would probably be fried to a crisp !
Ever seen what happens to raw steak in a microwave ? Thats kinda what would happen to anyone in the vicinity of that kind of power transmission.

Billing would be tricky.

I for one would plug a 2400w heater into my IBC the day they installed the system. Carbon footprint be dammed, my silvers have stopped eating :)

Hey all I just found this old thread and thought I'd share my experiences with tesla's free energy. Last year I took the schematic and built a test rig for it. I attached one lead to the copper water pipe in our building. The other lead I took outside. I attached a piece of duct tape on an aluminum rain gutter 5 ft long as an insulator. I then applied 5 ft of conductive 1 inch wide copper tape (used in isolating pickups etc in electric guitars) over the Duct tape and connected the second lead to the end of it. At first I got 3.12 volts dc at a lil over .9 amps. I left it connected for a few days to see if there was any difference. The 3rd day it peaked and held at 7.4v dc and 1.7 amps. The theory is that you are capturing the ambient energy that exists all around. Unfortunately I could not leave my experiment running or expand on it, as the landlord saw it and made me take it down. It is there though, and I believe if you connected several circuits you could maintain a small battery bank.

I think you should get an electrician to check your house wiring and apliances ;)

What was this "test rig" you made ?

I think Tesla also invented the Tesla Roadster.

Oh no wait a minute that was Elon Musk.
