When we get a few overall favourites we can turn it into a poll for people to vote if you like.. I can easily add a poll to the first post..

Sounds good. Let's wait for a few more pages/posts to build up first.

Okay. I was going to put in a top 5 running total every second page. But TC's post took the wind out of my sails.

Besides, without keeping track of all "votes" i can't tell when 5th place gets switch with 6th etc.

Sorry, that was Jamie, not TC.

They are all great but my favorites would be a tie between stucco + zsazsa amazing efforts in a very trying enviroment, followed closely by Faye and the Narrogin boys Nocky , Rick and DBird

Cheers

Come on,

We've heard from a lot of long time members about mostly long running threads.

Would any newer members like to share which threads have inspired them the most, or whether there are any new threads that stand out?

I'm personally amazed by the rate of progress in Sejin's thread: Healing Garden Aquaponics in Adelaide, South Australia

Please some of you ol timers help me out with a thread that I have spent many, many hours searching for but I just cant find.

The issue is I have very little information about it. Possibly it never eventuated as a system.

My only memory is of the DIY FT. It was a DIY fibreglass jobby that was sunk in the ground (maybe in the driveway) that could fit a couple of men in it. I remember it was blue.... I remember he made a viewing window in it (so it must have partially been above ground as well). I remember it was a square looking thing... not a round tank.

Most of the short thread was about building the fibreglass structure. All hand made. I remember a pic of the guy standing in it after he had finished.

Arrggg.. not much info I know but its killing me. If I close my eyes I can picture this thing but for the life of me I cant remember the details.

Anyone?

OBO got me inspired and imagination sent me on some crazy ideas. :dontknow:
Fayes system brought me down to earth and figured safer to put my hand in my pocket instead of on the cheap as fish death i could not cope with. Tried and safe system :thumbright:
Chilidude cos he has put a huge amount of blood sweat and tears and imagination into building around his system .
Nocky for his down to earth outlook and effort to get Theresa a new kitchen. True Aussie grunt.
And talking about grunt, that brings me to Gnash.Great work. Very sad when we lost Grunt.
Rupertofoz of course with lots of great advice.
Fishnfood has a great thread
TCLynx has taken us on a great journey and continues and showed me how to come up with a no holes overflow setup
Francois definitely a fave as an amazing system and I love Ozzy boy.
List could go on forever really.
