Looking for something to clad the sides. Im thinking just more hardwood.

Jalepeno pepper has a few flowers on it,and 2 of the mini cauliflowers have hearts too.

The silver perch and goldfish are swimming together in one big school.

In a word, now! If you leave it the flowers will open up and it can become bitter, especially if you have warm weather.

Some of my broccoli does the same (grows a little different visually) but dont worry its nothing to worry about. I have found that organic/ AP vegies grow and look a bit different to the pestacide/herbacide/chemical induced stuff you get from the shops.

thanks guys ill be picking them after work today.just wasnt sure cause they looked different from what you buy in shops.ie not as uniform in colour and bud size.
Cant wait to see what they taste like.

Sorry to say sejin they are not from my ap system. Maybe next time.
my system is still cycling. Its at stage two, ammonia has peaked already and is now at 0.25 nitrite is 1 and natrate is 20 so not long now.
Im not sure if I should do a part water change,im just monitoring it and have stoped feeding.

Well shes up and running.
cycled up nicely. Still got all the 10 gold fish and 10 SP's. Water is crystal clear and I also got the second grow bed online.SLO is working well with the bottom being spotless.been a bit lazy and havent finished cladding the FT or even started on the GB's.

Ph : 7.0 (no buffering, came down from 7.5ish...) Adelaide tap water up untill recently was around 7 but for awhile now its been much higher?...

Ammonia : 0
Nitrite : 0
Natrate : 10

Pics to follow
