These guys had excellent support. Even a phone call at 11.00 at night 5 minutes after I sent a ticket when I could not get something working. (my fault)

Nup, bandwidth only goes up to 300GB, and that would be $450 a month compared to $250 a month.

This month we have already used 355GB of bandwidth.

Dunno... I don't think the first one will hack it at all, we need a dedicated server. At the moment we share a server with one other person and we use too much.

Second one? Unknown, I need to do some more research into exactly how much processing power we chew through..

I can vouch for rackspacecloud. I have only used their cloud servers and they are excellent.

Support is second to none with 24/7/365 via chat/phone/email.

$150 gets 50gb of storage and 500gb of bandwidth a month.

We're back to 259% last month, not too bad.. We have a new host "hostgator" where we have the www.ibcofaquaponics.com site, I'm seeing how that pans out for a little while, we may move the main byap site to them perhaps..

The upgrades? Man it's hard to get people to do work.....

I can't imagine the backyard aquaponics site needing all that CPU...

Are you running APC (or another opcode cache) on the server? What about database caching?

I've heard very good things about this service as well:

If you want to get a dedicated server that's probably your best bet. You could run the forum and all of your websites off one dedicated server. If you want one but don't have much experience setting one up I can do that for you as well (no charge, my way of giving back to the community).
