Some advice would be appreciated on stocking levels please!! I want to relocate my SP to a smaller 250L tank for the slower winter months. This system is continuous flow and hooked up to 200L of growbed. Average size of the SP are around 150mm, would this tank be too small for 20 SP over the next few months?

I would say yes... way too small.

Generally yes Borby.... mainly from a filtration point of view...

But as the water temps will be dropping... and feed rates dropping accordingly... you might get away with it through winter....

But you'd have to keep a regular eye on your ammonia levels... and be prepared to do water changes...

Can you hook an external filter up???

Will look into the external filter set up and see if I can get away with it. If not I might grab an IBC and use that over winter for the silvers and run it through the growbed.

Cheers for the feedback!
