Ok smarty - correction, I missed one word out.

wo...hold on HIJACK!!! Architects see things in there heads and think it looks good and then get a draftsperson to draw it as best they can and then builders and tradepeople redesign it all on site to something practical that can actually be done. So theres two professions we could all do without.

anyway it is a good looking pizza oven, (probably nothing like the architect had visioned).
Does it work well and does it have a door to keep the heat in over a long time.

It works a treat Bundy, and yes it has a door. Last weekend when we did the damper, I stoked up a fire and got the brickwork fairly hot (prob had it fired up for about 3 hours) - then let it die down to coals, it was like an oven inside. The damper cooked in about 15-20mins.

Ill be doing some pizza tomorrow, a friend is bringing over some home made dough and we will slap on some yabbie tail and AP condiments.

Ill post some pics tomorrow arvo.

That looks real nice Charlie.

I'm currently working out how to build a pizza oven in my backyard.
