12 years or so ago, whilst studying my bachelors I did some tutoring. I was paid about $70 for a 50 min tutorial.

I also remember the lecturers were on multiple boards and study groups as each position they held they were provided $$$.

Money is spent quite easily at uni. Often with little to show for it.

HAHAHAHAAH that is the funniest thing reading this about them hush hush what they are doing personally I dont have 3 million dollars to compete against these fellashahaha and im pretty sure that if we All put our spare change together we STILL wouldnt be able to come up with 3 mill....

Look at what joel has done for this industry from his typical starting of a hobby/business to what he is doing now yes he is making money from it but he has been putting in with info so we dont make the same mistakes therefore others just starting dont make our mistakes .... Information is Key and a key should be given to any that want to ask....

Urban Ecological systems is the vertical greenhouse guys from Nimbin/ Byron.. Hogan Gleeson.

Have partnered with the like of Ben Pope at Fresh By Design to facilitate this project at Camden.

QPonics is based in Brisbane looking at a ''innovative'' approach to add microalgae photobioreactors to the UES Aquaponics system to produce algae based Omega-3/ Omega-6 oils.

I can't help but be a bit sceptical about some of these things, do these companies ever actually produce anything? Are they more into buying and selling ideas and raising capital to pay for the wages of the people behind them to do a bit of research?

They always seem to have the same setups, boards of directors and advisers, and all seeking funding but do they ever get anywhere? Haven't heard much more about the vertical AP guys in the last 3-4 years and they were after many millions of funding for their projects.

Paul has extensive aquaculture knowledge Charlie.... and there are other academically qualified peoples involved.... the project has acheived substantial financial backing.... and is probably the scale required to make it a truely "commercial" operation...

As Wilson Lennard said.... "it will take someone to risk their money, and prove it can be profitable.... and everyone else will jump on board"...

This may well be "that" project....

I am not sure what & where any IP that is not already known exists in this project?

Where is the innovation & IP?

Where is the commercial viability and profitability of refined high grade Omega-3 & 6 lipids from Algae??

All in the name of fancy ''R&D'' & an IPO Exit Strategy...
