Ah, I thought you had already bought it.
The labels have come off my cans.
iirc it was called Crocodile Flex and that was the only product in the shop by that company.
Sorry I can't be of more help, it was a long time ago.
You could Google it, it's a US company iirc.

ok ask the wife if it says something along the lines of "suitable for painting drinking water tanks"
I'm 99% sure mine had that in English too, that is kind of a key factor :)

My one Stang advice is...
You need to monitor the worker from start to finished.

This why I did it myself.

The paint can lables say - CROCODILE - SUPER-SHIELD. No other English on the can - the rest is Thai. Nui said that it say ok for water tank but the words drinking water are not included. The diagram of a building on the back of the can indicate that it is ok for a roof top water tank, and also an inground water tank under the building so I assume this stuff is what I need. On goggle I can find crocodile everything except this type of paint. I did find the too ra sap, telephone number, in Bangkok, so I am going to have Nui call them in the a.m. and tell me exactly which product I should be using.

AO+. You are sooooooo right. But you have a big advantage on me. You can read and write and speak Thai and maybe the salesman will not lie to you. I cannot read or write Thai. I really wished I could just walk into the store and read the lables on the products and pick out what I want. Then I would know that I had the right product. For me, a white man, to try and talk to a salesman or ask questions is a waste of time- they will lie and sell you anything just to make a sale and the same with your Thai wife if she is with you. That is why I send her to the store and I stay home.

Then it is almost certainly NOT ok for AP.
There are 100's of water proofing materials/paints available, very few of them are safe for drinking water.
My tins definitely said ok for drinking water tanks, I was very specific about this when searching for it, that's why it took me 3 months to find it...

Finally all painted. If it stops raining everyday I can check for leaks which I don't think we have. Wife did the painting with Lanko 222. Now I will continue with this project and post photos, maybe, if I have something new to take a photo of. Johnra

Well as of today it appears that there is no more leaks, but, it still rains everyday making it hard to check. Since my wife did the work I am sure it will not leak. I am getting 4 inch pipe today to make drain pipe guards to keep out the gravel. Since the drain is near the bottom the pipes will be 28 inches long I plan to drill holes over the surface of most of the pipe but not sure what size holes to drill or how close together to make them. Can someone give me advice on this. John

Hello everyone. It finally quit raining every five minutes so I am back at it again. Two months neglect on the fish pond, fish, and GB's half full of poo and dirty water just sitting for two months was a real mess to clean up today. My helper, brother in law, and I got it clean and I drew down the pond about 35 cm's and added fresh water. I can see the fish now but the water is still brown. Tilapia must really be tough. I only fed them for two months and turned on the bubblier every night. No other maintenance and I lost no fish. Cut the pipe to length for drain guards today and drill drain holes in about half of them. Also put them in place. Maybe I can get a photo or two tomorrow. My helper can only work on weekends so hauling the gravel from the front of the house to the rear and into the GB's may take a weekend or two. Monday I plan to buy a few plumbing items and hook up the pumps so I can run pond water through the gb's. Wow, I might even get to plant something in the GB's this year. Johnra

My brother-in-law speaks very little English. I speak very little Thai. My wife speaks Thai and what she calls English, however, better than most other Thai's. They are both interested in what I am doing. I have tried to explain it best I could but my sign language is not enought. I need links and refrences in the Thai language for them to read. B-in-L has some sort of degree in agriculture. He is one hell-of-a-dirt farmer but is lost with what I am doing. +AO, Dui, anyone else too, please load me up with links and info. Thanks, John
