How long has it been since you have had damper guys? I think I was in school the last time I cooked it. Anyway, thought we would try some in the pizza oven today which went well with the cold rainy weather.

Some pics -

Its a heirloom Richard, "Mortgage lifter" is the breed, actually had a pretty cool story on the card that came with it about a farmer back in the day who used this variety to pay off his mortgage. Funny how life changes over time eh.

My son was really into Disney's "The Princess and the Frog" for a while there. He called it "pwinses in d fwog." It's got an OK soundtrack, otherwise wouldn't bother though ...

Nice looking bread oven, Charlie... jealous.
Does that thing stink out the house with smoke?
How many frogs can it fit?

Its a pizza oven out the back, just thought we would give the ol' damper a go on a rainy day. We will do up some yabbie pizza's with AP accessories on home made dough this weekend coming so stay tuned for that.

This is what it looks like from another angle

Architects don't build things Builders and Draftspeople do!
