You may have to give up your day job now. Too much to do at the new place!

Guess the vegetable bribe didn't work? Or was the gift of the free rooster to much for them there city boys to handle?

You will probably be able to look back one day and thank them. It might be the best move you ever made. :)

I do think this will be a great move. But No thanks, I could have done without this last notice. We ere already well underway with trying to get the farm and move. I don't need the added stress of a $1000 per day fine hanging over me while I try to figure out what they mean by "no outdoor displays" but I also need to be out of town on a job on their "compliance date" and the couple days prior to it as well!!!

Ugh.

I will be very happy once we manage to close on the farm but this week is really stressful.

TC - Ugggghhhh, just when I think I've heard it all, something like this happens. Apparently there is no such thing as private property anymore. So I guess it's OK to have "No Solicitor" signs posted on our property to keep away the door-to-door people, but if something is within mere EYESIGHT of someone on a street, we have to abide by their sensitivities?

Again, all I can say is Uggggghhhhh! I guess it's good that you were looking for another place to relocate, and this latest notice would have pushed me over the edge in case I was teetering on which way to go.

Keep us posted on how it goes.

Tc this will be the best thing that has happened to you, to move to the farm. Those city people have go in the house to use the bath room. What could worse than that? My nabors are at least 4,000 foot away and have been that way for 25 years. Jerry

Hey Tc! Thanks for making a little time for us during your busy week. Seeing the equipment in person really puts all the pictures and descriptions together.
We're praying for the farm deal to work out for you. There's nothing like the country life.
Please tell "Mom" and "the Cook" thanks for keeping up with Cam while we were there. He had a blast!

Thanks Rhame,
Always good to show off the aquaponics.

I just spoke with the Code officer and it sounds like she will let me go if I remove the mulch pile (distribute it) and keep it from coming back. AND clear out the brush that has built up out at the corner of the road (which technically may not be my property.) Anyway, I'm willing if it will satisfy them at this point.

If we had been on a looser schedule, I would have been happy to help spread the mulch. As it is, we've eaten lunch at Disney, caught two baseball games near Tampa (one with fireworks) and been swimming at the hotel pool. Now heading back north past Jax to home in SC. Whew!
The highlight of the trip for Cam is a toss-up between your birds and the fireworks.
Thanks again, ya'll.

No outdoor storage. Isn't that what a HOUSE is? Aren't cars normally stored outside? And hey, get rid of that grass and dirt you are storing outside too! Rainwater tank and worm storage, no, it's all art, the worms are living art.

Sounds like this lady needs a weekly nighttime lawn feeding of weed seeds. Then she can concentrate on her own yard instead of yours.

And for the ignorant.....Welcome to America. Freedom? No, bend over you Republocrat consumer. This is just another example of our freedoms being taken away by the crazy morons we let live in this country. Please vote for more options so we can get back our freedoms in the future or aquaponics may not exist in our homes anymore.
