So, you get 2 cents every time someone clicks on one of the adds but in the meantime you are advertising for companies offering similar products to you. Dosent seem like a great deal to me as if someone decides to buy say a pump from the opposition then its going to take a lot of 2 cents to make up for the lost sale.

Can you make it so whenever someone clicks on something it opens a second window?

It frustrates me that whenever you click on a pic you cant just close it and continue browsing, you have to click back.
Also means people dont leave your site when they click on the adds...

I don't tend to click on adds but sometimes theres something interesting, but I have noticed you need to click twice to page back which is a bit annoying , maybe I should just login .

You can on a pc too.

But you are directing people away from the site if they click on the link.
If it opens in a new window then they stay on the website.

I just think it is a better way to operate the site IMO

I think we were paying about $700 a year, now the people we host through don't have the plans they used to, their new cloud servers start at $275 a month for their lowest plan.. :shock:

Ask your host what your package consists of. If it's anything less than a VPS or dedicated server switch.

I can personally vouch for www.intivon.com.au although your bandwidth use seems pretty big.

As for people saying to use $4 shared hosting in the US, DON'T DO IT!!!

Unlimited hosting != infinite hosting... Once you start using real amounts of resources you'll start having your account shut down. Also the shared servers are ALWAYS oversold and you're usually looking at several THOUSAND hosting accounts on one box.

You sound like you need a decent dedicated server or a quality VPS and if your current host isn't giving it to you then you do need to switch.

If you want nice quick response times stick with an australian host. The americans are cheaper though.

Started to have a bit of a look at hosting providers and looks like dedicated servers don't come real cheap, but hopefully you get what you pay for...

We need at least 500GB a month of bandwidth
At least 25GB of space

This one doesn't look too bad from what I can see.. Anyone offer an opinion?
