Hi Room , Been A long time, but I would like to share some great news with all AP'ers. I bought a House in town here, so the AP garden will be up and running once again, hopefully before the end of the year.

I packed up the whole garden and moved into a shed, all the clay this time was rebagged into managable size lots. I swear this is the last time the garden will be relocated. When I sell this house, it will come with the AP garden !!

I am so looking forwrd to growing food and fish again.

Please give advise........

where to put the tables..........the block is spilt with 2.7 mt difference, and room on both parts of the block for the tables.

The tank is already in the shed on the lower part of the block.....

should the tables be formed down there aswell, or on the higher ground ???

This is the 3rd or fourth time moving 2 tonn of clay, and I don't really want to do it again :geek:

 This is possibly where I could move the tables to so the water gravity feeds down

As long as the bottom of the grow beds are high than the top of the water return line pipe... then it shouldn't matter where you put them Jessie...

In reality I think you nee the bottom of the grow beds to be at least 300mm higher.. to ensure a complate drain of the beds....

Putting the beds on the higher level certainly means you could just gravity return directly back to the tank/sump... but means you've got greater head to pump to...

Work out where you want to have the fish tanks and go from there..

Take into account pump usage..
Plus you don't want a system that could accidental auto siphon and kill the fish..

WOW... what an epic thread!!

I look forward of the latest system design, good luck!!

OOOOH and yes the aquaponics is nearly finished..... ......... Look forward keeping everyone updated with progress it doesn't look like much but to me it is huge

Great to see you back in the game Jessy  . Those wicking beds should be awesome - I'd greatly appreciate it if you could put some photos up as you construct them - looking to do the same myself in 4-6 weeks (though bit smaller scale).
