A while back I said I would post some photos of the volcano I went to get lava from for GB media. Here they are. My son took these when he was home from college at Christmas.

The Volcano last errupted in the 1800's but it is still very active. We were just on a yellow alert in Nov of 2007.

Sorry if this is not enteresting or acceptable. Someone can delete these if not appropriate.

:( sigh

Geothermal energy means you have power plants with excess hot water.

Excess hot water means - free heating for AP prawn farm!

Beautiful pictures are always welcome here.

Any history on the cross on the hill?

Is there a way for me to edit my post so I can reduce the size of one of my pics? It is making the whole page run off screen.

if you go back to the actual message and click Edit, you should be able to edit the pictures from there. You may end up replacing the big pic with the smaller version (do you understand that round-about stuff? :? )

go back to the message with the photos that are too big, up on the top right hand side are some buttons, Quote, Edit etc
Click Edit, down the page after the text part of your message there should be something about edit attachments / posted attachments
I can't edit your photos for you, you have to do that bit yourself :)

You'll have to reduce the picture file on your computer before you re-post the pictures.

Leafy greens and root crops in general would need less light. Fruiting plants tend to need more. I'm doing well with peas right now in low light. But all told, you won't know what works best for you until you try.

I am getting a lot of trash in the pump (leaves, twigs, etc so today I will go get a basket at the market and use it for a screen around the bottom of the pump.

The water is amazingly clear todayand the fish are hungry.....everyoned seems to be settling in to the new arrangement.
