Here are photos of a tomato and a pak choy, both growing in my system which is cycling without fish at the moment. Nitrate is quite high at 40ppm. Would anyone like to speculate of what the deficiency is?

I'd add some "chelated" iron... most likely deficiency...

And some regular doses fo Seasol/Maxicrop... for general trace element provision..

Yeah, get some seaweed extract into the system...

Yeah, ph is above. It's stubornly sitting at 8. Before adding fish again (killed last lot with ph 8 + ammonia 0.5) I'm trying to get it down by cycling.
I'm adding Charlie Carp, watching the ammonia spike and drop, watching the nitrite spike and drop, and then waiting for the plants to use up the nitrate...it's testing my patience.
I'll add some chelated iron, as you say, and some Seasol.
