I can get a new Round Galv Garden Tank 2000mm x 1020mm for $565 (+Delivery). The only problem is I would need to seal the base joints etc myself.

Does anyone think it is worth it?

James

A Galv Tank is a Waste of time..

The tank if it is not water potable it is not safe for fish..
the Zinc will over time kill the fish..

A non coated tank is a waste of Time..
Why not get a Poly Tank..???

You could always put a pond liner in it... Downside of that is the cost of pond liner I guess.
