It will end up as some sort of PSG -passive solar greenhouse. Am creating a plan on Sketchup, and putting pieces of it into action. As each part of the plan is completed, I'll build it. Must have changed design about 8 times so far, but really like the passive solar GH idea, so I'll go with that.

It'll take a while to build, but in the meantime, I'll be keeping an eye on Rob's rocket heater designs/mods and ZsaZsa's PSG.

Some of the stuff I can do myself, some of it I can't. Need to get a few tree stumps removed, trench for power/water/data/open conduit, build a 2 foot square area as a power/data station enclosed in a weatherproof box, start on putting poles into place...

Taking it a step at a time, trying to make sure I don't have to redo anything from not thinking things through.

AAAAHHHHHH!!!! I'm not ready yet.

It's started already. This is February, not even spring yet and the fish guys are haunting me. Alright, so the wife tore it out of the weekly paper, but still, I'm not ready for fish yet.

I wish someone would offer all those fish here in South Africa. I am struggling like hell to find some carp or bluegill to power my system through the summer months... Can only get koi and they are small and expensive!

Made a few scrap wood forms to make a concrete base for the poles. Had them all measured out and set into place for when I get some time to mix up a bag or two of concrete. Sometimes you just have to laugh it off and wait for another weekend to roll around.

I suppose that is one good thing about getting rain, makes burning safer. Don't dare burn anything around our place lately it's been so dry this year.

Yeah, we got the same storms here during the 4 day weekend I had to get work done. I did get one sunny day out of it all. Of course, we're in better shape than what that system did up in Indiana.

Tapping the inner Pyromaniac. And yes, it did.

Finally saved up enough to buy a roll of 10/2 underground wire. Will be buying some 1" water pipe to bury from the house to the greenhouse/garden area.

Already have the data and fiber cable to bury along with it. Hey, I'm an ex-data cable installer. Of course I'm going to bury some fiber to my greenhouse. Along with security cable for cameras, and some other stuff.
