Did you get much rain F&F. I was at Blackwood yesterday and it bucketed down, gutter over flow etc, and it was heading your way. I thought my tank would fill on its own, got home later to find it went around our house... :(

The fish looks happy enough (maybe it 'knows' it on the menu?), is it around 20-25cm? yummy (licks lips)

damn, F&F, I know when my ph gets to that range, the fish stop eating, so that may be the first cause of them not eating. Otherwise, how much rain would have got in the tanks? They aren't covered are they? Any more info about what may be different today than yesterday?

How much did the pH change from the rain?

Are you close to the fires or did the weather come from where the fires are?

Feel for you man, that's an awful thing to happen.

monya the only difference was rain the tanks are covered with tin so i dont think it was splashing from the treated pine water flowed threw the glass house the last 3 years i used tomato dust and caulieflower dust in there the water flowed threw and then a bit may have seeped into the return to the fish tank
aquaddict the fires are 2 1/2 hrs away yes the rain did come from there

wish I could help you, seems the answer is somewhere in your posts. Did you have any survivors?

Sounds like only the goldies survived.
Can you post some pics of the demised? That might help, but from the sounds of it, they all bit it pretty quickly. That, and the not eating, would seem to be a poison of some sort.

I'm very sorry.
Try to think of the opening credits of The Six Million Dollar Man, and keep-up the good fight me brudda.
