Apparently some big blues and tonnes of flathead down Peppy Grove way. Gonna go have a shot this weekend as I looooove the flathead

Sounds good jf, might give that a go, certainly not having much luck along the metro beaches. Are the big blues crabs?

I heard there were some prawns showing up in some places too.... Not that I would mention it here on a public forum.

I tend not to share these little secrets to all as well. Except for this yabbie spot i found the other day. It needs more fishing done there to make them a bit bigger

Eh, nothing that hasn't been mentioned on fishing forums and in the Sunday Times. Yeah good size and lots down Mandurah too. I was gonna get a torch and my speargun until I found out you can spearfish in the Swan. I've since found out you can't speargun cobbler in the ocean... whoops, better hide the photo of me emerging from Avalon waters victorious

LOL...I have a mate who accidently found a cobbler on the end of his gidgie last week......he thought he could kick it off with his foot now he's hobbling around and has learnt a very important life lesson

I've been when I stepped on one in Mandurah there and it AINT no fun. Not often scalding your foot feels nice!

Threw a line in from the jetty next to the freeway in como. Few blowies about and one small bream, sand worms were getting eaten pretty quick.

Yeah been there! Nailed in the back of my hand at base of finger.

I've never seen anyone catch anything decent there

No it was probably a bit optimistic, tried again last night over at freshwater bay - had a bit more luck with bream but nothing big enough for dinner

It would have been lovely out fishing last night with the full moon but I don't think that makes it the best time for catching fish.

Very true but any excuse for a couple of cold ones in a nice location...

Was pretty windy out last night but the moon was huge!
