Support the fish deliverer... :headbang:

$25 (I think that's what he's charging) for delivery isn't bad considering..

If everyone bands together and there's only 1-2 deliveries to do, then troutman won't be bothering to do deliveries because it won't be viable, or, individual fish prices will have to go up lots. When you think about it, he's selling fish for under $2 each, how much money do you think is being made there, when he has to buy them in as fry, keep them for months, feed them and keep them alive. Then drive hundreds of kilometres and deliver them to peoples houses.

He's certainly not making much money on the fish when people are wanting 10-20 at a time..

I don't mean to bash people who want to join together for deliveries, especially those in out of the way areas (like up north of the river :-P ) where delivery might cost more, but I just want to say that for those in central metro areas, and especially south of the river, think about using the service and paying for it, if you want it to be there in the future. :thumbright:

For $25 might as well just get it delivered to my door
Scratch my previous order.

EB, it was Troutman that suggested getting a few orders together perhaps to make one delivery up here but point taken about everyone in Perth joining in. Perhaps I'll just get merrick, carbon and myself in on this order then as we are all a stone-throw from each other and just down the road from the Woodvale Fish and Lilly Ponds who will be putting in an order to make it worth the trip in any case I'd imagine.

Can I get a lock on this thread?

Yeah im happy for a few of you in nearby suburbs to get together and combine small orders so long as it dosent total much more than 100 fish. I need a certain amount of delivery money to cover travelling costs as on a typical trip I do about 500km for the day.
