I was under the impression brisbane is way too warm for trout...
Might just have to get some more local creek fish to keep it running...

You could probably get away with trout in Brisbane... during winter...

But it's not legal to have trout in QLD...

Really?
Wow!

One of the reasons I left the UK was 'cos of the rules and regs, Oz seems even more strict.

Thats ridiculous. Most of the western countries are very regulated. Some are more free in some areas but less in others... Maybe I should move to Thailand ;)

Rupe off the top of your head do you think SP or JP can do all year round in brisvegas ?

superveg, I have jade perch all year round. I put the youngins in in summer, and by winter they are aclimatised to the weather. Just keep an eye on them, and salt as appropriate as soon as they start to show any fungal issues. I'm probably going to try some silvers this year, and see how they go as well. Tandanus cats and sleepy cod will both survive all year round. though I think the tandanus are a little harder to get at a good price.

cheers

Great thanks for the info Orcy. Interested in doing a combined order sometime soonish ? I only want about 15 fish or so (maybe a few more if I get another 100L GB online) and the prices for getting more than 50 seem so much better...

I'd take whatever was left out of 50 if you wanted to go that way.
