I ran across a site that said Grasshoppers are 70% protein... My bigger bream snap the right up...I caught about 100 of the buggers right before they completely ate all my beans...At least my fish will get something back from what was stollen in bean leaves.

Sounds like the best thing for them..

They are sold here, fried, in vast quantities for human consumption.
The legs are a particular delicacy.
I have found that the more beer you drink, the more tasty they are

Also good coated in chocolate.

As are most things!...
Like beer nuts or pork crackling... nobody buys those little packets of pork crackling when they first get to the pub!

chocolate covered bacon is to die for...

Fried insects do actually taste like bacon, not as salty, but not far off.
The closest is fried Scorpion, really

Literally...

"I'll have a packet of chocolate covered bacon please... and the phone number of a good cardiologist!"

What do you mean Damage, I have often pulled through the drivethrough after work and got a couple of stubbies and a bag of pork crackle!
Beef jerky is my favourite though.

Jerky goes without saying... I'd have Biltong for breakfast if I knew the Minister-for-War-and-Finances wouldn't chew my ear!... but I've gotta be three-sheets-to-the-wind before those little bags of pork crackling start looking appetising!...
but fresh crackling cut straight off a pig on the spit, now that's a different story.

Yeah true the stuff from the bag is nothing like actual crackling, just like the nobby's jerky is nothing like beef jerky! Made some mean crackling at christmas on the spit its the best way!
