Mine are against the fence like that lexie. I have a 20L bucket that I keep my BYAP 7mm pellets in and I use that to stand on to reach the back as Im a bit of a shorty.

I try to plant vine-y type plants at the back so they can run out to the sides.

I'd simply replace the bucket with a cow patty if I were you....if it works for humans the same way as it works for plants, then it wont be long till you can reach them :P

Roger that. Hydroton is a bit $$$ so thought I would try gravel and bluemetal. Cost me less than half the price to fill 2 GB's as it did to fill 1 GB with the clay stuff. Hopefully it works :?

They do seem to work. Blue metal gets a bit warm though with the current temps.

Have noticed nice growth already. Has created a bit of a buzz with my mates too 8) 8)

In less than 2 weeks growth my wife starting pulling lettuce leaves off for dinner last night. Pretty happy with the growth so far. Everything moving nicely. Might get some more goldies today though and hope they survive the heat.....

Also emailed Troutman and sorted some trout for stocking when the weather cools a bit, his SP a bit small yet.
