Hi guys. Newby to the aquaponics world. Given our recent addition to the backyard, a new swimming pool, has limited the vegie patch thought I would give this a go.

Been following the treads for a while and decided to go for the below system. Managed to pick up 3 IBC's at a good price, all previous liquids safely accounted for and went to work.

Hopefully be able to source some SP's after the system does its thing.

Nice stuff rooster. Beware of roots climbing up inside your under gravel GB inlets and clogging it up. Catch 22. Above gravel = algae, below gravel => root invasion.

Thanks for comments guys.

Sump is underneath, hidden but avalable to be accessed for future yabbies. Its about 600litres.

Fish are sacrificial goldies, and the future hopefully will be SP's if I can get Troutman to come up with the goods.

Did an inspection today and was stoked not to have lost, so far, any new seedlings. Hope that continues.

Part of an IBC. Originally had 3 full IBC's and 2 of them became acquainted with my jigsaw...
