Backyard Aquaponics

My name is Rick and I'm a noob to aquaponics. I did read the book by Sylvia Bernstein, but that's the extent of my knowledge. I would like to purchase a small system for indoor use just to tinker and get down some basics, but I'm also trying to design my home using two monolithic domes to be buried underground, with one dome having concentric circles of grow beds and the other other dome being a living dome with fish tanks.

I'm way in over my head.

Use the search function above and start a member thread with your plans and you'll get lots of help and suggestions. Sounds like an ambitious project. TCLynx has a dome as her avatar, and of course you've seen Rob's (Web4Deb) dome under construction right?

Sounds like you need to start playing around with google sketchup, great for planning things and drawing 3D to scale projects, it's free and can be lots of fun when it's not frustrating.....
