I checked my local fish shop and smoked trout sells for $27/kg so what they are try to offer you is part of the true valve..

and market valve do they mean wholesale market value or shop value..
You should get a few shop value cost's..


Did you lose anything in the fridges/freezers.. if the food went off in the fridge.. the most common cost is valve of food in the fridge and if it is bad[Retaining smell of rotten food] the cost of a new fridge/freezer as the smell will penetrate the walls of the fridge..

Have they offered that..
Did you have fish food frozen in the freezer's..? That is a write off..

Shit they try to get away with murder..

Yeah, I know the price of smoked trout can vary... but as they hadn't actually been harvested and smoked at the time... I decided I would be more likely to obtain a settlement if I priced them between the wholesale "whole" and "smoked" prices...

Didn't lose anything from the freezer... as the power had probably only been out for 3-4 hours max...
