Thanks, and the only difference between the Affnan and the Bell are that the Affnan uses the 25-50mm adapter right?

No, Affnan and Bell siphon works slightly different, based on different facts of phisics.

Yes we can say that.

By far Affan siphons seems to work perfectly while lots have problem with bell siphons. So Affans design is recommended

Sorry for the off ;)

Helomech, take the time to check out Affnan's blog. The physics are based on the Bernoulli effect. Same thing that gives a plane's curved wing lift. You may not need to know that, but seeing what he's expiremented with and worked out will help you understand and put into practice what you need for trouble-free draining.
You don't even have to buy an adapter. just cut the top of a plastic bottle and turn it upside down! It works.

Actually, if you are a Helo Mechanic, you probably do no Bernoulli's law rather well.

Yes I am an helicopter mechanic and have worked on fixed wing a lot also. So hydrodynamics and aerodynamics I know fairly well. I looked at the videos, and the only difference in building one is the adapter as far as I could tell.
