I wish we had the diesel options. I would give up some horse power for the torque of a diesel. I didn't buy a truck to race, the diesel would be much better for my purposes. Our lovely government won't allow us to have your diesels.

Got the fish tank to the house. Still need to dry out the hole and level the bottom before I put the tank in. They only had one tank in stock so I wanted to pick it up before someone else did.

Still need to clean up the IBC's, that will be the sump and for now will be my temporary grow beds. Just so I can fill up the fish tank. Don't want it popping out the ground, so I can't leave it empty for long.

Yeah, they won't allow most diesel engines. And here diesel is more expensive than gas by about 40 cents a gallon.

Yes, it COSTS more here too, but it's cheaper to make.

Not that I want to hyjack the post, but I don't see why no hybrids have diesel. A little 3 cylinder Yanmar could do a lot coupled with an electric motor. Btw tractors look best covered in mud. I dont envy the nightmares you must of had when it was stuck in the hole though!

No problem, I think it has bee hijacked a little while ago.

I sure was worried about it raining and submerging my tractor.

Need to get the rest of the hole level with the sides that are 4 foot below ground. Then I will mount up some IBC's and get the water flowing through them before I do anything else. After that will get started on cement, or cinder blocks for the sides. Still not sure exactly what I will do. Oh and we threw a few fish in just because my pond is full of little one's that need to be killed. Also threw in a bunch of minnows and grass shrimp. Going to get the hole filled in and leveled off tomorrow.

Got the tank buried completely and everything leveled out. Put a pump in the tank, just to aerate the water. All fish are doing fine, got 4 bass, 1 red eared perch, lots of minnows and some grass shrimp. Still catching more fish out the pond to throw in there. Hoping to have my IBC's set up and running on a temporary basis by Tuesday.

I did manage to get 2 temporary grow beds plumbed up today and flowing. Going tomorrow to buy some river rock to put in them. Should be able to plant something by Tuesday. These beds are only temporary until I get all my concrete work done which will be a while. Waiting on tax returns.

Wow, cleaning rocks sucks. I don't know how else to say it. If someone knows a better way to wash rocks, I am all ears. I tried to search with not much luck.

Anyways got some slag rock for the bottom, and river rocks for the top half. Got one bed almost ready to plant, and will do my best to get both of them ready to plant tomorrow. Wife bought some seeds to plant in them.

My two boys working. They where not happy.

And the one that is almost done.

Did you check out OBO's commercial thread? He has tanks which are bigger than yours, I think. After a big rain they "popped" out of the ground. You may want to take a look.
