dunno, i'm tempted...................little johnnie has shown how fed gov can strip states of power with his IR laws............

Does anyone know if we need a permit number for the wager?

The terms and conditions are:

1) the promoter is no one.

2) The wager is that within a 2 year period if the libs maintain federal government, that some type of excise / tax / levy / licence fee will be applied to domestic water tank usage.

3) The amount of $50 shall be paid to the winner

I'm up for it VB, spit on your smiley and insert here ->> :P

By which time $50 may be worth $2 (but then condition 2 of the bet will not have been met ).

gold coast city, yes the smart states own miami beach has already admitted that they will be charging inspecton fees either once or twice a year depending on location and potential for pollution to ensure maintainence is kept up... and so they can recover the huge amount of money handed out in their current and previous water wise rebate schemes. Most rebates for water tanks also require some form of registration with council.
