man my mouths watering, my rellies up in Kal go yabbying a lot up there on places they have had access to for a long time, they always get a good feed. They cook them in the water they catch them in, tastes awesome.

Yea grew up on yabbies cooked in the dam water, we just added some salt to the water.

Another great technique is to steam them using lemonade, adds a sweet texture and tastes fabulous.

:laughing3:

The breeder wont come out with me anymore after you pointed that out last time..

Naa, these ones are from home. The bigger ones are left over from a trial/experiment I had running to develope bigger claws (the best meat) and the smaller ones were mostly "yabbie ball" trademark test pilots.

Well if they are reasonably priced, I will pay for them. I will trial them for you.

My missus made an interesting point the other night, she said why dont you call the yabbie balls a yab-cab. I think I like it better?

Over the weekend I became the proud owner of 60-ish brand new baby yabbies. All babies and mother doing well...
