Plant more fast growing trees and shrubs. If they can't see into your yard it is harder for them to complain. It will not stop them but you can at least ask the code enforcement person where they were standing etc to see into your yard. If they had to enter your yard to see an item then you can look into getting them charged with trespassing. Or offer the guy some cash to tell you who made the complaint. Then roundup there yard.

:support: That bites. Can you put a fence around the entire property so the nosy neighbors stop bitching?

I like the ducks, they have lots of personality!

Actually you might get a Code Violation if you do fence the Property so the NOSEY neighbour can't see in.. Fence maybe to high..lol

Sorry saw something that needed Quoting..lol

How many Duck's/chickens can you have on your Property, have you asked that question..
I know that I can have 3 chckens and 1 Rooster...

I hope this works out for you TC.

I am lucky that my neighbours haven't complained about what I have in my yard - chickens, rabbit, dogs, aquaponics (right out side my neighbours bedroom and kitchen), worm farm - on a block less then 600 sqm.

Well guys, I just got home from a party thrown by our neighborhood watch captian (who also happens to be the mother of the guys living the the house next door to my ducks. Sorry I"m Having a little trouble typing.

Anyway, everyone there was very supportive "I hope" cause if not I'm done for since most of the people over at Mary's party know every little tidbit going on around town and every violation about everyone.

LOL, If I had given out the name of the "complaining party" there would probably already be a campaign going on against her. It is good to know that there are neighbors in the area who LIKE what I'm doing and will support me so things don't seem quite so bleak. They may have even convinced me to join back up with the Tangerine Improvement Society which is one of the oldest non profit organizations in existence in Florida and if the active members are in support of backyard chickens, well maybe there is hope for civilization yet.
Thank you to my neighbors (Matt, John) and Mary for inviting me out tonight when I was feeling rather down. It is a real benefit to society when you can remind yourself that there are really good people still out there even when the PITA ones are usually obstructing your view of the world most of the time. Even if I have a real battle with code enforcement and the county coming, I think I have some allies too.

Some people just have no life or purpose of their own, so they feel like they have to impinge on others lives and bring other people down to their own level...

Stick with it TC, one day that person will get what they deserve, good old karma always wins out.

TC, keep your spirits up! It sounds like you've got some friends among your neighbors to work with you (its a shame you have to go into politics just to be able to do things the right way by the planet). Your work and all the info shared has been a wonderful resource to alot of us. When I first stumbled on this site, it was all of your different system's that I read, post for post, before I even got into the rest of the forum.
Keep us in the loop and I hope to visit with the family next time I go to Disney World if it fits in your schedule.

The slow erosion of our private property rights. Its only going to get worse.

Do you know what "Libertarian" means ??

Vote for Ron Paul, the only man in politics who cares about your rights !!
