Been wetter in Perth than the last few years, and more showers on the way apparently. Its been fantastic for our garden, the dirt veges are growing flat out, not so good for the WA grain harvest raining this late in the season though...

Dry here for the last two weeks with at least another week of dry. Headers are going flat out getting the crops off.

Seems the grain farmers can't get a break. Bugger all rain last year, good season this year until the late rain came when they should have been harvesting.

Yep, managed to harvest about 40t of barley today before we got rained out, 22mm last time I checked. :upset:

It's not all bad, the garden is growing well and probably wont need watering until this time next year... :D

Yields have been quite good thanks Arbe. It's all been going top grade so far, we had a load of barley downgraded from malt to feed today because of colour. I suspect there may be more downgrades when this rain dries out and we get back into it.

Fortunately we have only got about 200ha to go so all we need is a couple of days of sunshine and then I'm going fishing.

Actual below 20c or was that below 10c at night is my kind of weather..

As long as it is not humid I'm fine..
I have with a passion 20+ humid nights.. No Sleeping for me..
I might just have to go for a Dip with the fish..

At least I will once the Big Pond[14-20k] goes in...

Just looking on the BOM radar out of curiosity, looks like Perth/Rocky/Mndh could be about half an hour away from some more rain... not complaining, just saying... love this summer rain.

Get those water collection tubs out!... :thumbright:
