I'll go along with that, damn crazy day yesterday... It was my day off and I just came in for a little while at about 9 in the morning to see how things were going.. I finally managed to leave at about 4 after the workshop had started.. I looked around a few times during the day while talking with customers to find 4 of us each dealing with customers while more customers were wandering around looking, waiting for help. Busy busy day...

Well after a pretty hot week the temperatures have relaxed to around 26 degrees, should be perfect for todays afternoon workshop. :) For those that are home in front of the tele "Home in WA" will be showing a segement about aquaponics filmed here recently. There probably won't be anything new to those of you who have been in to aquaponics for a while, but there are others that still, to this day have not heard what it is all about.
Channel 7 and GWN broadcast the show in Western Australia at 4.30pm.

For anyone just starting out with aquaponics the next workshop scheduled at the display centre in Jandakot will be held between 5.30-7.30pm on the 17th January 2012. Places are limited and bookings are essential. We cover fish health, how to get the most out of plant growth, history, design basics and maintenance. You also get to take home handouts plus five copies of the magazine on disc as well as the latest printed edition. You will also receive light refreshments during the evening.

No Rupe, seems we are undercutting all the competition @ $55-00 lol.
The price never changes, just need to cover the costs and help people get the most out of running a system, whatever make or model it is. That is what it has always been about :)

Wow... real systems, real knowledge.. taught by people who've really been involved in aquaponics for years.... for $55....

Why would anyone in Perth want to go anywhere else for aquaponics knowledge....

For any one interested in attending the workshop - DO NOT HESITATE!

We attended the November workshop. Everyone was very helpful and supportive. Even if we hadnt actually attended the workshop, just wondering around and chatting to the wonderful staff would have given us inspiration :thumbleft: :thumbright:

The cost of the workshop was well worth it :D

Hi Faye,

Sorry, I have only just checked in and just realised it was on today. Is there a date set for the next one yet?

Thanks,
Craig

Here is a few photos, but I left the other camera at work

Brad came out and said hi, he behaved well and loves his fish food. He's a little piglet after all.
