Dont forget to sell the veggies to your household.

You can offer your wife a 10% family discount on the normal price for first grade organic produce if you're feeling generous :)

AND ONLY PLANT YOUR WIFE'S FAVOURITE STUFF!!!

Wife said I could pay for her cooking with no discount :upset:

I think that cucumber just paid for your system so far :)

Fish = $4.50
bits and peices =$10.00
Pee = $00000000000000.00
electircty for three months =$6.00
total =$20.50

cucumber =2.99/kg * 0.321kg = $0.95
I think more like a 1/20th paid off, 19 more cucumbers to go :whistle:

internet and data to read this fourm =$lots
My time $1000/hour * 1 hour/day * 90 = $90000, at this rate my system will never be able to repay its self :cry: :cry:

I have been living in outback QLD for almost 3 years in charleville, I met my wife here and started my iterest in aquaponics. However it is time to move on, soon I will be leaving as my wife is korean and hates the boring country towns and I do miss city livin, I will be heading to a small island south of melbourne, its called Tasmania. I hope to be able to see some established working systems when I arrive, if there are any in tasmania. I plan to leave in december
