Do the tutorials and then have a play. Took me a while to get the hang of it - but I am a bit closer now. The coloured lines are inportant.

Here is my grow-bed and stand drawn in sketchup.

They have been drawn seperately and then I droped the bed onto the stand. They have been grouped as seperate objects so I can put as many of these as I need in my system now, shame it is not so easy or cheap in real life:-(.

Come on guys - I'm looking for some positive reinforcement about my sketchup efforts. Took me ages to get the hang of it enough to do that picture. Something like 'VB that is a fantastic sketch you have made there' would be great

Well I am impressed. Just got my half barrel sort of drawn, yes the coloured lines are important. Trying now to place them on my beams.

Gee - thanks BK. Working on putting together a bit more of the proposed system now. Is testing my skills well and truly.
