Hi,

I'm planning a micro system, featuring a small aquarium integrating a biofilter as a FT, connected in somewhat CHIFT PIST mode to a GB thanks to some AutoPot's 'AQUAvalve' thingie.

Anybody using such a valve?

Thank you!

Looks like a float valve. What are you going to do with it?

Do “Autopot” search, there are heaps of posts on this forum.
Can work as “Add On” to AP, but will need inline filters.
Did try it but its to much bother.
It’s inventor, Jim Fah does have shop nearby.

Saw it at geek_gardener’s place, but a separate hydro system, in a greenhouse.
He was regular at Jim Fah’s shop.

Jim Fah had his own take on AP, circulating FT water through a transparent pipe “algae” filter
with a separate water feed to the autopots.
You need a different type grow media to soak up the water from the bottom of the pots.
It does/did work but he pulled it down. Still keeps the fish.

I'd be interested in a couple.

I'm thinking of coming to town tomorrow or wednesday would it suit you for me to swing by?
