just thought id introduce myself

my names nat and im new to both aquaponics and using forums

iv had aquariums all my life and currently have 8 so of course i thought i would know eveything already.

i now realise that i have lots to learn

i cant wait to start my own system iv put a few small growbeds on some of my aquariums they are grate bio filters

mostly large american cichlids a few shrimp colonies in planted aquariums a clown fish plecos some cat fish tetras freshwater mussels and possibly lots of others that are hiding and iv forgotten i have. i had a lot more marine but i downgraded the tank

As you're typing a post there should be a "upload attachments" section just below where you're typing, you can browse to an image on your computer, then "add the file". They need to be about 800 x 600 in size though to upload them...

I keep fish too, and have 12 tanks running with a mix of African and American Cichlids.

The pleco looks more like a Gibbiceps (Sailfin) Pleco than a Clown Pleco, unless that is a different catfish...

Do you keep any other large Americans other than Oscars? Is that a Red Devil in the bottom pic?
I have Umbee's and Dovii, I'm hoping to breed them to put in my AP setup, I have been told Umbee taste good!

yer im waiting for one of the catfish to poke his head out to take a pic probs later tonight. there should have been a comer between clown fish and pleco but yer he is a sail fin i have a few other plecos and lots of baby devils

Ahhh, that makes more sense now! I thought you meant L104 which have the common name clown pleco!
