The very reason I already cut down all the pines around my house and the hybrid dirt garden/Aquaponics area.

Still the large trees have large trunks, and given the sun slips down quite a few degrees in the winter months, with enough large naked trees in the way it could mean some of them would end up in a nice firewood stack.

Speaking of which, are you going to be putting a rocket heater in the GH? Sorry, I forget who it was that had plans for that.

Are the dome wood pieces rebated to accept glass or is it going to be covered with plastic? Some closeups of the hubs and how they bolt together would be great to see Rob.

Then you need to see his earlier videos. He shows exactly how it's all made.

Most of you know that the dome's frame is up, but here's the next video in the series about what will be hiding under the floor. You should be able to expand it to watch in Hi-Def! :thumbright:

For next time... If you concrete a vertical central pole in the ground you can build a perfectly round tank around it using a radius bar to lay the bricks at the right radius and height. Remove pole afterwards...

I thought about doing that but thought this way would have been easier. If it wasn't tapered, it probably would have been! I'm hoping there will not be a "next time"...I really dislike doing all the concrete work.

It'll melt soon and you'll have another 3 weeks or so before getting another.
