Bad start to the day, heard the pumps screaming which is never good,I thought at least the trout will be okay as the air will be running in their tank
But that was depending on the pump working properly, which it was n't
Our first mild night for spring too.Pulled out 13 trout up to 310gm.
The real bummer was I was going to take some out last week but decided to wait til i get a smoker.

With advise from a mate made a crude smoker to test the trout
Soaked them in brine 1 hr(too impatient)
made the smoker with wire cake rack wok (old engagement present) and foil
Cost nothing to make except wife now needs new cake rack and wok
Came up a treat

That made me lol.
Great looking system, good work :)
Haven't eaten trout in a long time, you can get it here, but have to go to Doi Inthanon (highest point of Thailand) - They grow them there, but they are very small.
Special treat every 6 months or so !
