Hi folks,

i want to present my System here.

The total water volume is around 1800l. 1000l Fishtank and 800l sump.

I used for growbed media clay papples.

The plants that i have growen are tomatos, salat, chilli, cabbage and cucumbers.

The saison is nearly over. Only a few plants are left but they doing well so far.

The Pisces are in my fish tank(indoor) and have to over winter because they got not the right size to eat.

Wondered that myself... Looks a bit like tilapia, got the right fin shape but the colouring is a little different.

Right it´s getting too cold. By the way this system is located in germany.
The Pisces are Tilapia. The samller one is Tilapia mariae (from tiggar) and the "big" one is a female Oreochromis niloticus (Nil Perch). I use this and five other females for a breeding projekt at the moment. And last Saturday i became father

Again to my system how it works. The FT contains 800l. A floor pump (8000l/h) waters the FT up to 1000l. The water drains from the FT to the two GB on the table. The GB´s on the table flow into the third one and than back in the sump.
One cycle needs 4min for pumping and around 30min for draining.

But next year everything will be better 8)
