hey guys my friend has a 22000 litre pond and is looking to stock it with freshwater fish he can eat.

I've suggested perhaps silver perch, murray cod or rainbow trout (depending how warm the water gets after monitoring it this summer), but are there any other fish you could recommend?

thanks

Is your search / learn button disabled??

Anyone who has a 22,000 litre pond who is serious(and has enough knowledge) to turn it into a AP setup, should have done enough research to know wtf is going on;.

The answer to all the questions you ask, has already been answered by countless people many times over.

Tell him to get some Tandanus catfish and try them out. They should survive with not much problem but I would only put in 30 odd if he isnt going to filter the water in any way

True, but the general point is valid - 5 minutes research would have provided all the answers.

Silver Perch
Tandanus Cats
Maybe Jade Perch
trout in winter
Murray cod
bass
golden perch
......

You might want to check what you are allowed to have with fisheries in the local area.. 22000 is pretty big, sounds almost like it's rural perhaps?

Are you human?: Sometimes.
Location: Margaret River.
If one finds a question frustrating then one doesn't have to answer it. Unless one has a compulsive disorder compelling one to comment.
The question might well have been interpreted as what fish are available right now.
For example one would be hard pressed to find any fingerling trout in Western Australia in October and so the researcher could eliminate that species and start looking for other options.
We have to remember that every web page has to be discovered-out by every new commer.
