Nice so if they have larvae in my gb they will eat the aphids woot!!!! Saw 4-5 of the hoverflies this morning

I think pic 3 maybe a Black Soldier Fly.

Pic 2 is possibly BSF larvae?

Pic 1... dunno?... are they actual insects or leftovers after they've shed?... either way they are obviously some kind of small grasshopper or cricket.

I think they have shed and left those behind.

I wish i could get some lacewings to show up, these aphids are pissing me off lol.

there are 100's of these, mostly on the underside of the corn leaves, but also on the surrounding plants.
they are about 1cm long

good, bad, indifferent?

Hey I remember these bugs, as kids (FNQ near Cairns) we called them Bill and Bertie (names of our grand parents) for some bizarre reason.
All I remember is that there can be heaps of them and they are annoying when they get on you (spiky maybe).
Don't think i ever recall them eating/sucking plants...
Let us know when you find out ;)
