I transplanted this dude from the garden and he seems to be having some issues, I also transplanted another one into a different bed which seems to have the same issue but a much less severe case.

could it just be waterlogging or something? the water level is pretty high

any ideas?

Lots of possibilities. Could be stress from transplanting. Could be you have salt in the AP system and the Strawberries don't like it. I don't have strawberries in my system yet so these are just my best guesses.

Hi Scotty
Strawberries like lots of nutrients what's your PH reading as too high a reading can cause nutrient lock out. I would also be patient as the new growth coming up looks fine the older leaves just look a little frazzled from the transplant shock.

Iv had this happen before, and i'd agree with the neut lockout.

Grab some Chelated Iron and a dose of seasol.

Remove the bad leaves and sit back n enjoy the growth :)

My strawberry plants look amazing after a dose of seasol. Fake in fact. So green and perfect.

But I think that's just normal leaves dying from transplanting and old age.

I found some of my newly transplanted strawberry plants didnt have roots long enough to touch the water, and suffered a bit when I first put them in, but they all bounced back and I'm seeing fruit everywhere.

Strawberry plants get old.

Salt is an issue.

If it's a young system, pH might be an issue.

What they said. ^

That strawberry plant died/ or is in the process of dieing, the one in the other bed however looks fantastic. it has had little fruits on it for maybe 3-4 weeks but none of these have progressed past the first stage of flower/fruit.

this is my only fruiting plant I have in the system atm so I assume I will have the same or similar problems with others as they mature also have chilli, tomato, pumpkin in the system but these plants are young.

any thoughts on what this deficiency is and how to supplement it?

PH around 6.8

have been adding seasol and iron chelate on a semi regular basis
