Haha, ph back to 6 tonight after adding about half a litre of charlie carp. Ammonia 2, nitrite 0.25, nitrate 40. Gonna have to buy CC by the 5L container me thinks. :D
Job for weekend is to load up the beds with shell grit. :D

Getting this system ready for trout in a few weeks time so had to replace the flimsy shadecloth lid with a trout proof one. The system is pumping out corn, lettuce , leeks, spring onions, and chives big time at the moment. Charlie carp is wonderful stuff :D
Got the ph buffering to about 6.4 which is good, so now too wait for cooler weather

Well it finaly got cooler, and 30 trout went in today. Went to the footy and tonight all were still swimming and ammonia test = trace so threw in a small pinch of pellets. Hope all is good tomorrow .\
Sorry, no pics (was in a hurry to get to the footy). Two of the beds are planted out to broad beans and the other assorted onions
Hope to get some trout to eating size this year as last was a stuff up\
