Its seems hard as hell to make good profit if you sell food at wholesale prices. I have tried for years to sell people AP systems and services, but so far most people are not interested in operating a system. However, I can sell all the fish that I can raise and much more. If I choose to go commercial I would have to really scale it up to make a living. I produce a pound of fish for around .70 cents to 1.40 in food and energy. However, to make a living, I would have to direct market and raise 20,000 fish. Thats 33 times more fish than I raise now. That's a LOT of work for such a small living.

The major fault I see in all these commercial systems is that they have huge operating cost and enormous initial outlay in setup coast( greed ). For anyone claiming to sell a profitable turn key system I would have to ask to see theirs that they operate at a profit. :blackeye:

Yep..... Agree with you 100% there Dan... I had someone in here the other day saying they could make $1500 a week from selling lettuce with a small commercial AP system.. He reckoned $3.50-4.00 a lettuce was what he could sell his produce for, and he's only have to work a few hours a week on it. ....
