It's our fault not theirs. We decide what they get fed at home and at school. We decide what they see on TV. We decide what politician rules their lives.

But more, we decide what other people see on TV and what other people have for school lunch. It's not enough to just make sure your own kids eat well.

If we don't, we are failing.

We cant do it properly, but when we don't it isn't the kids fault.

Yes, released in 2006 but only in a few cities in the US.. IMDB says:

Quote:
Fox Studios were unhappy with the film, and didn't market it or add any promotional materials. There is controversy as to whether or not this had something to do with the strong "anti-corporation" theme throughout the movie. In the end they opened the movie in under 10 cities in the USA. This was possibly a bad move as the critics who got to see the film were apparently very positive in their reviews.

You can buy it online here for under $7..... :thumbright:

That I'll stand up for any citizen being beaten in a supermarket isle no matter what the consequences.
Wow, you have a rough neighbourhood, IN the supermarket...

Nice work Bully.... :thumbright:

It really is often the little things, helping someone who has dropped something, grabbing some ones trolley in the car park if your going in and they are leaving, so they don't have to take it back..

Offer your place to that person with only one or two items in front of you and your trolley full..

I seem to be stuck on supermarkets now..

I always use my best superman voice when I ask someone belting their kids to "Please stop beating that citizen" You get a strange look, then they seem to realize that their kid really is a human, and get a little sheepish.

Try it. You have to use the words "beating", and "citizen" to get the best result :)

You feel like a bit of a dick, but its worth it :)

I don't have any kids that own me BTW, I just represent them in the isles :)

Around here, all i get is kids that want to know about car's and bicycles, or custom Paint on cars or bicycles.....

I design, build and fix electronics, and the closest i can get to them wanting to know something about that, is them wanting ME to install florescent bulbs under their car, or a car stereo for them..........

and pulling up a weed in the garden is totally out of the question........

i cant even get them to sweep up the shop............

:upset:

I went to conference a couple of weeks ago, and there was a 17yo that had built a Tesla Coil all by himself, that was throwing off 4 foot sparks....... it was way wicked..... why cant i have kids like that for neighbors....................................

I'm willing to sweep your floor for tech lessons.

But I'm old.

BullwinkleII

does not matter how old you are, if you want to know something, you can learn.......
Trouble is, they DO NOT WANT TO KNOW.......
and i bet you could do a 100 times better job sweeping the floor, in 1/4 the time as it took them the last time they 1/4 ass'ed the job............................

A crap worker costs you so much more than their wage.

Get a smaller floor, and do everything yourself. If you get too busy and need staff, just start charging more, until the right number of clients get put off.

Supply - demand - tax - lifelong learning - hanging out in a green house - messing about on boats - scotch

You just have to find a balance :)
