Just have a few half drums that gets a small amount of water to keep them going over winter. Rest the the year it grows anywhere that the fish can't get to it.

Still been too lazy. When it warms up I plan on getting in and putting a lot of the larger fish into smaller tanks so its easier to harvest.

Work has been taking up more time than usual. Plus I'm renovating some of the house. The AP system has been running well. Got a concrete sprayer from the states so I may end up with a few cement fish tanks and garden beds.

Got this little guy out of the pool the other day.

Was very clean inside. Weight was around 3.5 lb after we killed and cleaned it.

Good looking fish Dufflight. He looks cramped in that sink, I hope he fit the pan better. :headbang:

22/09/2008 Was the date on photo of the first lot of silvers. Not sure if this is from that lot or the next batch. There are a lot of bigger silvers, this one was just the first one near the net.

Also noticed that in the floating tank there are baby fish swimming around. I had to empty them into the pool as a enthusiastic larger fish decided to jump in with them. Not sure how long the silvers have been breeding as the other fish would be eating the fry and eggs.

Would be very unuasual for Silvers to breed in a pool Duff... see if you catch one of the "babies"... I'd be curious to see what they are...
