lol

you guys are making me feel bad for being in the same generation as some of these people. Im just glad I can say my head is screwed on straight, I was raised right, and can fully take care of myself.

I just started back in college after 6 year break and am amazed at the level of maturity and intelligence that is not present in some of these kids that are going after some pretty tough degrees.

The wrong people are breeding. Stop the hand-outs and introduce income splitting for couples where one parent is raising the kids and the other works.

I'm in the docs office laying on the table fixing to have a procedure done on my spine. Nurse and I are talking about general topics. Doc walks in and first thing he says is "Hey man, your the one that doesn't have a TV aren't you?" Turns to the nurse and says "He doesn't have a TV at his house."
"Yeah doc, I don't have time to sit and watch a TV. Too much to do around the farm."
"You have a farm?" (His eyebrows shoot up) "Really?"
They start peppering me with questions, and we spend the next 30 minutes talking about the acreage, garden, animals, kids growing up on the farm, Aquaponics, fish, vegetables, etc...

"Really, you grow ...."
"Really, you raise ...."
"Really, you do ...."

Yeah, really. I am a real person doing real things with real food. Don't you love it when you can teach a highly educated person BASIC stuff?
...
Potatoes grow in the ground. No, vegetables don't taste like fish poo. Yes, you can grow vegetables in gravel. Yes, really. Chickens only have one hole, poop and eggs come out the same hole. Yes, really. Yes, ... Really.
Well, go look it up then if you don't believe me...

Bet you won't learn that from your television.

Are you human?: Some times I wonder

I got two cents worth to say. In the beginning there was education only for those who could pay for it. Then not so long ago the industrialists who build things decided they needed a labor force who could read a tape measure and add and subtract to do work in the industry they were building so they started education for the masses to get a better educated laborer. One that was able to comprehend what was going on and could understand complex problems and fix things that were not working right. You know take those kids your talking about and use them for laborers in you shop. They are getting to be the same as the previously uneducated. Very hard to get useful work out of them because they do not understand what is going on.

Then along comes the politician and he gets scared of his job cause too many people understand how bad they are and what they are doing is wrong and wanting to put them out of office. So they get together and start dumbing down the schools so the kids do not understand any more and let them be crooked politicians who are lording over everyone. Giving them the sense of power over everyone. The results are there for all to see and it is happening everywhere.

The only way to stop it is educate you kids yourself and do a good job of it or do not have kids. Voice you disapproval of the current system and help make it better and change the politician before it is too late.

Remember this they work for us. It is not us working for them like they want you to believe.

If you remove the educated people who design and build stuff and create everything we have all the rest would starve or kill each other trying to take what is left.

A young boy enters a barber shop and the barber whispers to his customer, "This is
the dumbest kid in the world. Watch while I prove it to you."

The barber puts a dollar bill in one hand and two quarters in the other, then calls
the boy over and asks, "Which do you want, son?" The boy takes the quarters and
leaves.

"What did I tell you?" said the barber. "That kid never learns!"

Later, when the customer leaves, he sees the same young boy coming out of the ice
cream store. "Hey, son! May I ask you a question? Why did you take the quarters
instead of the dollar bill?"

The boy licked his cone and replied, "Because the day I take the dollar, the
game's over!"

Wife was telling me about a young couple down the road who had just moved into a house right next to a farmers field. They stopped by the farmers place and asked why he left his cows out in the field all night.

Then they called the police to complain that the farmer was abusing his cows because he left them out in the field while it was raining.
