Milk thistles only have spines on their leaf margins, albeit soft spikes

As for the bok choy and other plants bolting to seed, this is governed by soil n air temps, lengthening daylite hours and time of planting. All the brassica family are cool weather plants and should be sown early autumn, they will happily grow thru frosty weather. :wink:

yeah i bought a few packs of asian vegetables but i have lost the packaging so dont know what they are lol
