Preying mantis from my system. I love these bugs. Easily my favorite. If you bring them inside they will even watch tv with you. It's also the best way to watch tv without being bothered by the wife. :D

Growth has been phenomenal. These pics are from this morning. The plants have grown so large that many pictures must be taken to get an adequate picture of the system.

Big moon pumpkin towards back, Dill's giant pumpkin in middle, pink banana squash in front. All growing out of grow bed on right.

Big pumpkin! It's looking quite nice now. Banana squash. Very hairy leg for perspective.

Zucchini. The zucchini in the last picture were eaten. These are newly formed. They grow fast. Delicious and a big one feeds a lot of people.

Armenian cucumbers draping over the side. Nice sized cucumber growing. There are a ton of them throughout the grow beds. I've eaten 3 of them so far. One goes a long way.

The tomatoes pulled themselves down. Some branches snapped, but have hung on just enough to stay alive and feed the huge and numerous tomatoes. The vine wrapping around the bottom is from the rear grow bed. It is banana squash. Pumpkin hiding in the foliage.

I find I prefer zuccinis when they are about 10cm (4inches)

Great thing about Zuccinis is that the more you pick....the more they will grow.

Made the mistake of growing 4 zuccini plants couple of years back and that was too much for a family of 2.
